In our restaurant, we don’t serve gourmet cuisine but rather what is truly eaten here on the Vesterålen. With our own interpretation, we bring the traditional favorite dishes of the Vesterålen people to the table.

But that’s not all! We also have some unique creations that you can only find here. These include our house-smoked Arctic char, our three burger varieties, and our delicious apple crumble.

Waffles are a staple in Vesterålen, but the Holmvik Bryggen waffle has gained a bit of fame.

A special highlight is our exotic dessert, the Rognfromasj. This sweet delicacy is based on fish roe and is a forgotten specialty from old times. It’s said that anyone who visits Nyksund and doesn’t try the Holmvik Bryggen Rognfromasj hasn’t truly been to Nyksund.
